Buttercream Frosting

Finally, A buttercream frosting with the perfect balance! 

Obtaining a frosting that is not too sugary or too running…or powdered tasting can be difficult. This buttercream frosting is delicious, but I will say that it is dangerous! The batch makes a lot- so if you are only frosting 12 cupcakes, consider reducing the size.

3 c Organic Confectioners Sugar

1 c Butter

1 tsp Vanilla Extract

2 TBSP Whipping Cream/Heavy Cream

Whisk sugar and butter with mixer. Mix on low until well blended and then increase speed to medium and beat for 3 minutes. Add the other ingredients and continue to beat on medium. (This is where you hand off the mixer to your boyfriend/husband to help them understand that baking is physically exhausting!)

***Make sure that whatever you are frosting has completely cooled, or the frosting will take the form of  a melting snowman….
